Playmobil Exhibition: “Tell me about the Middle Ages!”

Playmobil toys have invaded the Château of Langeais for a new and original exhibition! Open exceptionally for the occasion, the castle’s attic houses lavish scenes that bring back to life the great moments in the castle’s history.
The pleasure of the castle tour lasts even longer with this fun and recreational exhibition!

An easter egg hunt unlike any other (in French)
Solve a puzzle about Foulque Nerra’s mysterious keep to win Easter treasures (for children from 7 to 12 years old).

Her Majesty Queen Anne of Brittany leads the children through the castle where she married King Charles VIII. (length:1hr) (for children from 7 to 12 years old) (reservation required).

Castle Life – the art of entertainment in the Renaissance (in French)
A hunting encampment and archery and crossbow shooting demonstrations, music and dances evoke the recreation and entertainment activities enjoyed at the dawn of the Renaissance.

Forge Workshop (in French)
Using a faithfully reconstructed mobile forge from the 11th century, our blacksmith gives you a captivating demonstration of his art. He shares his know-how, talks about the forge’s rich history and evokes daily life in the Middle Ages. No reservations needed but places are limited.

Christmas in the land of castles – Château de Langeais, a setting of lights
The magic of Christmas enters the castle in a flourish of lights and with magical and amazing staging and scenery highlighted by magnificent vegetal structures. The big Christmas tree takes pride of place in the banquet hall where the lord’s table shines with lights and colours.

The story of Leon the dragon
This warm-hearted and amusing tour leads young children through a fabulous fairy tale, in the company of a quirky dragon. For children from 4 to 8 years old (length:45 min) (in French) (reservation required).

Lantern Workshop
Make your own luminous lantern with motifs inspired by the castle’s decor: fleurs-de-lis, ermine tails… An activity for the whole family. Open to participants over 7 years of age, no reservations needed, places are limited.
