To prepare your visit, you can download floor maps of each storey in the château with the rooms indicated (in French only) :
– Possibility of picnicking in the château’s park or in the covered market in the town centre in the case of rain (2 min on foot).
– Beverage vending machine.
– Rest and recreations areas in the park : playgrounds and tree house.
– Demonstration of the drawbridge upon request.
– Reading room with comics and educational works (in French only) based on the theme of the Middle Ages.
– Gift shop and bookstore specialising in the Middle Ages, children’s section (books about daily life, games and costumes).
The activities are carried out under the responsibility of the guide, the teacher and accompanying adults.
Before the tour, we request that you make your pupils aware of the respect owed to the exhibited objects as well as other visitors.
It is requested :
Inside the château :
– to not touch the exhibited objects (furnishings, tapestries, objets d’art…)
– to make sure the flash is off before taking pictures
– to not run or shout
Outside :
– to not throw pebbles and stones
– to respect the guidelines on the cards posted in the park
