Christmas in the land of castles – Château de Langeais, a setting of lights
The magic of Christmas enters the castle in a flourish of lights and with magical and amazing staging and scenery highlighted by magnificent vegetal structures. The big Christmas tree takes pride of place in the banquet hall where the lord’s table shines with lights and colours.

The story of Leon the dragon
This warm-hearted and amusing tour leads young children through a fabulous fairy tale, in the company of a quirky dragon. For children from 4 to 8 years old (length:45 min) (in French) (reservation required).
From December 26 to 29, at 11:30am, 2:30pm, 3:30pm

Lantern Workshop
Make your own luminous lantern with motifs inspired by the castle’s decor: fleurs-de-lis, ermine tails… An activity for the whole family. Open to participants over 7 years of age, no reservations needed, places are limited.
From December 22 to 31, Sundays to Tuesdays ; then from January 2 to 4. From 11am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm.

Nocturnal visit – December 27
For Christmas, discover the Château de Langeais at dusk in a unique atmosphere!
– Visit of the castle until 9:30pm
– Stilt walkers in the courtyard at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm (length 20 min)
From 4:30pm, access to the site only by reservation by cliking here.
