Two rooms in the castle serve as a showcase for the music and dances of the Renaissance, putting them into an historical perspective with a presentation of old musical instruments

Initiation “Dances at the dawn of the Renaissance”

In the footsteps of Anne of Brittany
Her Majesty Queen Anne of Brittany leads the children through the castle where she married King Charles VIII. (length:1hr) (in French) (for children from 7 to 12 years old).

Salon des Vins de Bourgueil Wine Fair
The winemakers of Bourgueil set up shop for the day in the castle’s courtyard and let you discover and taste their best wines (in French).

Raising of the drawbridge
A humorously staged show that lets you take part in the manoeuvring of one of the last functioning drawbridges. (length:10 min) (in French)

A Sparkling Christmas
The magic of Christmas enters the castle in a flourish of lights and with magical and amazing staging and scenery highlighted by magnificent vegetal structures. The big Christmas tree takes pride of place in the banquet hall where the lord’s table shines with lights and colours.

The Scribe’s Workshop
Visitors discover the world of calligraphy and can create their own personalized greeting card! (in French)
