A Sparkling Christmas
The magic of Christmas comes into the castle in all its light-filled splendour. Magnificent vegetal creations fill the rooms of the castle. The big Christmas tree will hold pride of place in the banquet hall where the lord’s table shimmers and glitters.

Games of bygone days at Christmas
Games of chance, of strategy or of skill, they were all part of the fun during the Christmas holidays in the Middle Ages. Visitors will find that atmosphere while discovering and playing games such as tric-trac, marelles and tablut (in French)

From December 26 to January 7 at 11 am, 2:30 and 3:30 (length 50 min) (in French)

Restoration works
The castle is going to be restored. Restoration works are carried out on the gatehouse south tower, on roof, stonework and wooden pieces. They will contribute to the preservation of the building. Restoration works of the outside buildings don’t interfere with the inside and outside tours. We thank you for your understanding.

Introduction to medieval dance
After discovering the sounds of instruments from the late Middle Ages, adults and children can practice a few dance steps.

In the footsteps of Anne of Brittany
Her Majesty Queen Anne of Brittany leads the children through the castle where she married King Charles VIII. (length 1hr).
