2017 Photo Exhibition

Wellness begins in the Garden”

The Grandes Heures of Anne of Brittany and her richly illustrated herbarium will feature prominently in the castle’s park. Large- format reproductions of some of the illuminations evoke for you the medicinal properties of those essential plants, with recipes from doctors and humanists of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

Castle life

Men in armour, specialists in military history under François I, set up camp in the park! Manoeuvres, the handling of weapons and firing of the cannon are on the programme. In the rooms of the castle, printing is honoured: the press is readied and pages are printed before the visitors’ eyes. (in French)
