Falconry Show
This show brings back to life the centuries old art of falconry. Following the demonstration, visitors have the chance to talk with the falconer and even meet those fascinating birds. (in French)

(Dogs are not allowed in the park on falconry show days)

Raising of the drawbridge
A humorously staged show that lets you take part in the manoeuvring of one of the last functioning drawbridges. (length 10 min) (in French)

Sword fight
The captain of Langeais is recruiting new men-at-arms to guard the castle. An interactive skit mixing sword fights and verbal jousts. (length 30 min) (in French)

In the footsteps of Anne of Brittany
Her Majesty Queen Anne of Brittany leads the children through the castle where she married King Charles VIII. (length 1hr)

Wellness begins in the Garden

The Grandes Heures of Anne of Brittany and her richly illustrated herbarium will feature prominently in the castle’s park. Large- format reproductions of some of the illuminations evoke for you the medicinal properties of those essential plants, with recipes from doctors and humanists of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
