Historical Presentations
The historical presentations trace the château’s history from the year 1000 to the 19th century. Guides introduce visitors to the architecture of the keep and of Louis XI’s château, then bring to life, in the banquet hall, the daily life of a great lord at the end of the Middle Ages. This introduction, rich in anecdotes, provides the key information needed to make the most of a self-guided tour of the site.
