Introduction to dance of the Renaissance
After discovering the sounds of instruments from the early Renaissance, adults and children can practice a few dance steps. (length 30 min).

In the footsteps of Anne of Brittany
Her Majesty Queen Anne of Brittany leads the children through the castle where she married King Charles VIII. (length 1hr).
November 1st to 3rd, at 11:15 and 2pm,  (reservation required)

Restoration of the castle
The square tower facing the town and the central tower facing the courtyard are being restored. Restoration works don’t interfere with the tour and all the rooms can be visited.

A Sparkling Christmas
The magic of Christmas comes into the castle in all its light-filled splendour. Magnificent vegetal creations fill the rooms of the castle. The big Christmas tree will hold pride of place in the banquet hall where the lord’s table shimmers and glitters.

In the shoes of a prince or a princess
Children aged 7 to 12 years can discover the inside-outs of fashion in the Middle Ages thanks to a fun and participatory activity.
From December 26 to 28, from 10:30 to 13:30 and 2:30 to 4:30pm

Narrated tour
Tender and amusing, this tour led by an actress draws children into a marvelous tale! (length 50 min.)

Wellness begins in the Garden

The Grandes Heures of Anne of Brittany and her richly illustrated herbarium will feature prominently in the castle’s park. Large- format reproductions of some of the illuminations evoke for you the medicinal properties of those essential plants, with recipes from doctors and humanists of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
